Hiking South Willow Falls at the Willowbrook Trailhead on July 10, 2020

We drove to the town of Silverthorne to reach the trailhead.  It was cooler because we were at a higher elevation.  We started at close to 9,000'.
We followed the river/stream/creek...not sure what it is...most of the way.
It was beautiful!

This is a Columbine, the Colorado state flower

We headed to the South Willow Falls.  It dead ended at the falls.
You can't see the waterfall here, but Deb is taking a picture of it.
These pictures don't do it justice.  It was gorgeous!!!

Here's a group foto of this days hike.

After our hike, we went to a nearby park, set up our chairs - socially distanced, of course - and had lunch and a beer!
It actually was so cool, that Debbie got up to go stand in the sun!
