Happy 11th Birthday, Emerson!!!

Emerson King...

He's my favorite 11 year old baseball player...and INOB date!

Here, he was exactly 10 years old...May 13, 2019!

 Last May, we went to be with the boys for their birthdays. (Emerson and Benjamin)

Emerson didn't have a party...but we were happy to be there with him turn into his second decade!

This game was May 14, 2019, so here, he's 10 years and 1 day old!  Look at that face!

 I just love to watch him play baseball...and it's an added bonus, a huge added bonus, to watch his dad coach him.  It sure brings back a lot of memories!

 It rained while we were there...so this day, we went out for a walk inbetween rains.

 There is this game...I try to get a picture of him...he evades the camera as much as he can.

 Later in May, we all met at Lindsey's to celebrate Benjamin's 10th birthday.

I love it when my boys are together!  

Out of my 5 grandsons, Emerson is the oldest by 17 days!

In August...Emerson had a tournament by his Aunt Lindsey's house.  Perfect!  He came and spent the night so he didn't  have to leave  his own home so early to get to the field.  Benjamin and William were super happy he came!

 There were 4 games that weekend...two on Saturday and two on Sunday.

After game #4, we went to Emerson's house to stay.  We went to his school to ride bikes, scooters, and take Baxter for some fun!

 Of course, INOB was on our list!
Emerson and I had a day to ourselves...we hit Chick fil A and Krispy Kreme doughnuts!

 We were back in September for Walt's 4th birthday...and more baseball!

Emerson is so great with Walt!

November!  Oh, how I loved this month!

 The gang was all here in Colorado!
Emerson learned to play billiards...or pool!

 He got to see Red Rocks...and a little snow!

 He had wanted to see snow before he came...
and on November 26th, his wish came true!
We had the largest snowstorm I've ever been in!

 Emerson shoveled snow...

 took pictures with his Saddie...
and watched her use the snow blower!

 He had snowball fights and … per another wish,
played football in the snow!

 Emerson got to go sledding...right in front of our home!

We celebrated Thanksgiving a day early...because the gang flew home on the actual holiday.

February!

We celebrated William turning 8 years old.  Emerson learned the game of Pickle Ball...

had a grand time on the trampoline...

 rode on the scooter...

 played basketball for his school...

 and, baseball, of course!
All this, we loved loved loved watching!

 We also had some backyard basketball!

Could we...would we...leave out INOB?
It's our tradition!

We even went out for ice cream!

My guy is growing up...so incredibly fast!
Here  you are today...11 years old.
I so wish we were there to be with you, to celebrate with you...
