Before the gang got here, Emerson and Walt were really hoping for snow.
There was no snow in the forecast.
As the time drew near, a little snow was forecast...then it was taken away. It kept going back and forth as far as a possibility of snow.
Well, we ended up getting 14" here!
Tuesday morning, it was gorgeous! Joshua got out the snow blower and went to work.
Saddie was loving it...and wearing her Mack High sweatshirt from when Joshua played high school football!
Baxter also loves the snow...
and loves his Saddie.
I absolutely love this picture!
but not this one! My poor Benjamin was so sick. He had zero interest in anything
but sleep and hot tea!
Walt got his snow clothes on and headed out...diving into the snow.
Emerson and Baxter joined him.
Is this not too cute?
After Joshua got the snow off the driveway, he went to the sidewalk.
Ron was shoveling the snow off the steps.
Be still my heart!
Emerson decided to try his hand at snow shoveling.
Saddie wanted a picture with the boys...
I love these!
Mom decided SHE wanted to use the snow blower.
Joshua wasn't too sure.
He told her how to use it...
but he stayed close.
"I'm just fine! I can do this," his Saddie told him.
He gave her a little space...
and off she went, blowing the snow off the sidewalk.
OK, she showed us she could do it...but it was a bit cold. Mom headed back.
Ron took a few pictures of us...
About this time, Emily had on her snow clothes and came out...
landing in the snow!
It was fun in the snow for Emily and her boys...(and Baxter)
Gabe came out next...
Great time for some family pictures!!!
Gabe had to stop and check his messages...
This family isn't used to snow...Walt had never even seen snow...Emerson only once when he was 3. I doubt if he even remembered it.
There were perpetual smiles from these boys...
They had wanted it to snow while they were in Colorado...and they definitely got their wish!
